As a real estate agent, I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to juggle everything from showings to client meetings, negotiations, and paperwork. It’s a lot! With all of this going on, social media can easily end up on the back burner—if it even makes it onto the stove at all. But we all know how important it is for our real estate business. That’s why today, I’m sharing what’s been a game-changer for me: Metrical.
I’ve been using Metrical to schedule my social media content, and it’s been a huge help in keeping my content organized and consistent. As I was planning my content for the week, I decided to record this video and share how this platform has simplified my process. I’ll also give you a sneak peek into what I scheduled last week!
Why I Chose Metrical
After doing tons of research, I found that Metrical was the perfect platform for my needs. It allows me to schedule my content across multiple social media platforms and even syncs with Google Drive, making it super easy to upload photos and videos. Plus, it has an app that makes content creation and scheduling even more convenient when I’m on the go.
I started using the platform about two weeks ago, and although it took me a bit longer than I expected to plan out my first week of content (I mean, who schedules 30 pieces of content in an hour?), it has saved me so much time and stress overall.
How Metrical Works
Metrical allows you to connect your various social media accounts—everything from Instagram and Facebook to TikTok and even your Google My Business page. Real estate agents, if you don’t have a Google My Business page yet, you definitely need one! It’s a great way to get found online and boost your local presence.
I currently manage multiple brands (including my own real estate business and my other business, Kirkwoodblvd.com ), and Metrical lets me keep everything organized in one place. You can start with a free plan for one brand, but if you manage multiple brands like I do, you’ll want to upgrade to the paid version, which is still affordable at about $18 a month.
Planning My Content
One feature I love about Metrical is the ability to plan out my content based on how I want my Instagram grid to look. I use an app called The Grid to organize my posts and see how everything will appear visually on my feed. It helps me plan for a balanced mix of personal branding content and real estate-related posts, like homes for sale.
For example, last week I posted a mix of coffee shop visits, homes I have listed, and some behind-the-scenes shots of my daily real estate activities. It’s important to create a personal connection with your audience, so I always make sure to mix in content that showcases who I am beyond just being a real estate agent.
Scheduling with Metrical
After planning my content visually with The Grid, I use Metrical to schedule the actual posts. Metrical even provides access to stock images, videos, and GIFs, which can be a quick solution if you’re in a pinch. However, as real estate agents, it’s important that we incorporate ourselves into our content. Personal branding is key!
Metrical has truly been a lifesaver in helping me manage my content, and I’m excited to continue using it to stay consistent with my social media. If you’re a real estate agent or business owner looking to streamline your social media scheduling, I highly recommend giving Metrical a try.
