At some point in my past life, I think I must have been a photographer. Maybe it’s the way I see light hit a subject or how my hands seem to naturally find the perfect angle with a camera. Either way, when I picked up my new Sony a6400 with its crisp new Sony lens, I knew I had to put it to the test—and who better to photograph than the effortlessly stunning Evin Monro?
It was a beautiful day, and we headed to Buckhead for a creative photo session. Evin, as always, brought her A-game, complete with four chic looks that perfectly captured her style and personality. Her second outfit was a playful floral short dress that danced in the sunlight with every movement. Next, she changed into denim overalls paired with a soft pink top, giving off casual, fresh vibes.
For the third look, Evin went bold: sleek leather pants and a delicate white lace top, creating the perfect balance of edge and elegance. We wrapped up the shoot with her final outfit—a short tan dress paired with scrappy sandals and a bold black-and-gold purse that added a striking contrast. Every outfit told a different story, and Evin looked absolutely gorgeous in each one.
As I snapped each shot, I found myself lost in the creative flow. The backdrop of Buckhead’s urban charm gave us endless possibilities, but the real magic came from Evin’s energy and the way she carried herself in front of the camera. Every look she brought out had its own vibe, and I think I did a pretty amazing job of capturing her beauty and essence in those frames.
I’ll admit it—there’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the final photos and feeling like you’ve brought someone’s radiance to life. Maybe I wasn’t a photographer in a past life, but moments like this make me think I’m on my way to becoming one in this one.
Stay tuned for more shoots, more stories, and more moments like these. You never know where creativity will take you next.
